Several years ago I was driving home along back roads after a week away for work. I was enjoying the winter landscape and was struck by the beauty of a peach orchard near Fort Valley, Georgia. I turned around and took several photos thinking about how I would have to try painting this scene someday. I finally got around to painting the scene.
