Peace
"I painted this piece to honor our healthcare workers during the unforgettable times of the pandemic. I was deeply moved by their resilience—their ability to endure endless tragedies while still holding on to a quiet sense of peace. I spent hours outside hospitals, watching and absorbing these moments, seeking to capture the emotions they held within.
Through my pastel palette, I brought the blues of their scrubs to life, each fold of their masks a reminder of the protective barrier they wore. Their eyes, the only part of their face visible, carried both strength and exhaustion. In the background, the hospital looms, a mirage of colors blending and shifting, embodying both the uncertainty and hope that surrounded them. This painting is a tribute to their dedication, a visual echo of their courage, compassion, and humanity during those unimaginable days."
