Precious Stones

My goal for this was to give the viewer a feeling of peace. I want them to take a deep breath and to mentally slow down while hearing the bubbling creek in their mind’s eye. I really wanted to capture the beauty of things so often overlooked. From far away the viewer sees a hyper realistic image drawing them in for a closer inspection, just as we should do with nature. A flurry of marks greets them giving the work extra life and adding to its interest.
