Under The Weather, Port Renfrew BC
Working en plein air in the Pacific Northwest challenges me to create an impression of sea, land and sky that connects me to this place. During my short stay in a cabin on this beautiful inlet I felt that I was really dragging due to working outside on very cold days. It was only upon my return home that I tested positive for COVID for the first time. Still, I just couldn't have stepped away from the pull of the golden light I found in that dreary day.
