Petrified

My painting is of an old building that I came across while driving across Arizona. This blue building was a commanding presence against the dry arid environment that it was standing in, and one can only imagine the stories that it could tell. The solitary cloud hovers above like a halo and the gas pumps are a sign of a previous life, while the black crow sits quietly in the shadows. My title "petrified"has many meanings.
