I have used different pastels, dry, soft and some pencil pastels. Pastel is a new medium to me but I started liking it from the beginning. Its more relaxing than oil .
I get inspired by nature and what I see. When I paint portrait I choose my models carefully, I believe models sincere presence when modelling will effect the artist and the art work.I always try to work from life. My models name is Maj (May) and she is my favorite model. She has been modelling for 64 years without telling her family. They recently found out about her secret through an article about her in a newspaper.
