Shake It Off!
My reference photo was a quick shot of our dog shaking his head as he came out of the lake. I loved trying to capture the feeling of intense movement, the distorted features and the surrounding water. The changes in the color of the water, the blur of a paw and the droplets of water were so much fun to paint! Like most artists, I am drawn to the play of light as it defines my subject.
