Lake Life
My painting 'Lake Life' is a tribute to the serene beauty of Lake Huron, a captivating source of inspiration that never ceases to amaze me.
To capture this essence, I began with a detailed alcohol wash underpainting using hard pastels, which allowed me to establish a strong foundation and add structure to the composition.
Once the underpainting had dried, I meticulously layered soft pastels on top, enriching the surface with depth and a range of value changes.
