Standing at the Ready
“Standing at the Ready”, 10" x 32" pastel on LuxArchival sanded paper. As I was leaving one of my grandson’s high school football games I noticed this line of school buses parked in the nearby bus garage and standing ready to serve the school kids the next morning. I was drawn to the contrast in light and color, along with the repetition of the similar shapes.
